Application procedure:

Pre-selection application forms can be filled out electronically as of the 1st of September and prior to the 15th of October (Autumn Call) and as of the 15th of March and prior to the 30th of April (Spring Call) on the GERSS Website http://www.mhesr-initiatives.org/gerss.
Applications received after the deadlines and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants will be able to retrieve the pre-selection result via the GERSS website no earlier than seven weeks after the deadline. The pre-selection results will be announced on the GERSS Website:
http://www.mhesr-initiatives.org/gerss

Applicants of the Autumn Call will be informed about the final result no earlier than February/March. The first possible travel date shouldn’t begin prior to May and the last possible travel date should be planned prior to 15th of July.

Applicants of the Spring Call will be informed about the final results no earlier than September/October.
The first possible travel date shouldn’t begin prior to January and the last possible travel date should be planned prior to the 31st of March.

Applicants will be able to retrieve the final-selection results via the GERSS website http://www.mhesr-initiatives.org/gerss.

Final decisions are made by the bi-national selection committee.
