A "young" staff member (Assistant, Assistant Teacher, Assistant Professor) or researcher (Assistant Researcher, Associate Researcher and Researcher) is given the opportunity to travel to any country in the world aiming at one of three objectives
- Type I Grant: Acquiring/enhancing the know-how (Retraining)
- Type II Grant: Acquiring/enhancing teaching methodologies and curricula
- Type III Grant: Initiating joint research
